Feeling Down

I haven't posted in awhile, I've been in a low mood with no energy. I've been worried about my health and focusing too much on it. This needs to change. I want to start blogging again, it is therapeutic. Dylan is busy right now so I started looking at some pictures on facebook and found the following quote and it is exactly my problem. I need to just let life happen and enjoy what is not what I think it should be.

Setting an example

Each person's journey is unique. We must refrain from interference. Setting an example is the only advice we should offer. I hope I'm able to remain quiet when I need to today.

I started a goal today that I'm going to stretch every morning for a minimum of 10 minutes.Then when I've succeeded with this, I will add another goal to it and so on. I know if I stick with this that I will start to feel much better physically as well as mentally!

Hurt right arm : (

I have not posted for awhile due to my right arm hurting. I went to the clinic Friday and was told I have tendonitis (I alredy knew this) anyway- I was given a prescription for Prednisone, 40mg a day for 6 days and told to take Ibuprofen as well.

Proud Mom

Sunday, Aug. 21st was Dylan's High School Graduation Open House and it went better than I could of imagined! Dylan visited with and thanked everyone that came to his party (this can be a struggle for someone with social anxiety). I am so proud to be his Mom and proud of how well he did- he's amazing!! A lot  more people came to the party than we had expected. This was such a great surprise :) and the weather was beautiful too, couldn't of asked for a better day!

Change

*Changing the world is not our job. Changing our mind is. The choice to do so is calling to us every day. Will I listen today?

I hope I will listen today. I wish to make positive changes when it comes to judging others' behavior. If a customer is not in a pleasant mood, I will not automatically assume they are a bad person/annoying etc. Instead I will think  'they may be having a really rough day' and try my best to make them smile!

Today is my 6th day working at Wal-mart as a cashier. I'm home on my lunch break. It's going really good!

Letting Go...

First Post

O.k. so I am not doing the Petal Passion flower thing right now and I'm not sure that I will ever go back to it so I am creating this new blog to take it's place.
I'm going to share a favorite poem for my first post. It is titled Invictus by William Ernest Henley written
